Two sister-in-laws. One simple promise. A website you understand, own, and are proud of.
Trades Her Media exists because good trades businesses deserve better than confusing contracts and tech they don't have time to learn.
Kristy · Head of Marketing
Bernie · Head of SalesWhy we built this.
Trade owners should know what they are paying for, what they own, and what happens after launch. No exceptions.
Kristy and Bernie started Trades Her Media to make websites feel less confusing and more useful for real working businesses. The kind of businesses our family runs. The kind where the owner answers the phone, picks up the wrench, and signs the paychecks.
Small crew. Sharp work.
Family in plumbing, electrical, concrete, pipefitting, carpentry, and just about every trade in between. That is the bench we learned from. That is the standard we hold ourselves to.

Kristy has spent the last seven years in business development for a Chicago-area commercial construction company. She works with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and business owners every day, which gives her a clear view of how trades businesses actually operate. Before construction, she handled member services, website updates, flyers, emails, and marketing support for a private club in California. That mix of construction experience and hands-on marketing is exactly why Trades Her Media exists: to make websites feel less confusing and more useful for real working businesses.

T-02◆ PortraitBernadette McGarry
Bernie has spent 18+ years managing client relationships in insurance and benefits. She has handled large accounts, long-term relationships, follow-up, service issues, and all the unglamorous details that keep clients feeling taken care of. Translation: she knows how to listen, follow through, and explain dry topics without making people feel small. That matters here, because a lot of trades owners do not need a flashy sales pitch. They need someone who answers the question and calls back when she says she will.
We noticed the finishes first.
◆ Twenty builds a month · Not a sales tactic · A craft promise
We grew up around trades. Daughters, sisters, wives, and now nieces of plumbers, electricians, framers, and finish carpenters. We noticed something early. When you walk into a beautifully built house, the first thing your eye lands on is not the framing. It is the ceiling fans. The faucets. The crown molding. The hardware. The details that say someone cared about how this ends, not just how it stands.
That is the part most trades businesses do brilliantly on the job. And it is the part most trades websites get wrong.
We want your website to feel the way your finished work feels. Considered. Trusted. The kind of thing you are proud to text your customers. Because we know how your business actually works. Referrals, word of mouth, the call after the call. If we get this right, the next time someone in your circle says they need a website, the people we worked with are going to fall over themselves to talk about it.
That is also why we cap at twenty builds a month. Not a sales tactic. A craft promise. As more women in our family join the crew, that number will grow. The standard will not. Everyone we bring on will have skin in the game, because the trades are what built our family. It is what built our homes. We want to share that same craftsmanship our fathers and brothers and sisters bring to the jobsite every day. Online, where most of you have been underserved for too long.
The trades are what built our family. We want to share that craftsmanship online.
Now you know us. Let's get to work.
